Experience the sublime music, movement and art of Persian sufi culture.

The Sufi Art Group's music and dance performances at Woodford this year were hailed as "majestic". Their new show immerses the audience in the visual and aural heritage of Persian culture. Passionate sung poetry accompanied by traditional instruments including tar and bam tar (infinity shaped stringed instrument and it's bass counterpart), setar (ancient Sufi instrument), kamanche (spike-fiddle), tombak (goblet shaped drum), and the incredible daf (frame drum) of group leader Arash Zanganeh. Glorious music woven into a sufi tale through the dance and art of Leila Honari.
