Italian Week 2012 Paints the Town Red, White and Green

Prepare to savour the tastes, sights and sounds of Italy when Italian Week descends on Brisbane from 26 May to 2 June.

From fine food and wine to film, music and fast cars, Italian Week 2012 will celebrate 'Sapori e Piaceri' or 'Tastes and Pleasures'.

Highlights include the Brisbane International Waiters Race, free concerts from internationally acclaimed artists Andrea Valeri and Art Phillips, a showcase of handmade Italian bicycles, a screening of Italian classic 'Lezioni di Cioccolato' and of course the opportunity to indulge in an enticing array of Italian eats.

There's also the opportunity to brush up on your Italian through the La Bella Figura language course.
